| User & Carer Forums |
The forums provide the opportunity for people with some shared common ground to gather, discuss issues and help influence the planning of the Community Care Services in the Dudley Borough.
The Community Care Project offers free transport to help people to attend the meetings. Forum members are offered minutes and related paperwork in their preferred format - standard form, Braille, large print, audio cassette and pictorial form. |

| About the Forums |
Action for Disabled People & Carers (ADC)
This is a multi-disability forum established to represent the views of all different disabilities. People representing the above disability forums meet to share issues and have united to ensure the voices of disabled people are heard on the Primary Care Groups, Local Area Committees and with the Town Managers. |

Dudley Users Forums - Parents
A borough wide forum for parents and carers of students with learning disabilities. They meet approximately every six weeks. |

Hear Here
A borough wide forum for people who are hard of hearing. They meet every six weeks at the Hearing Impaired Unit, Dudley. |

Liaise
A borough wide forum for people who have a physical disability. |
| |
Dudley Carers
A borough wide generic carers forum. They meet approximately every two months. |
| |
Access in Dudley
This is a group meeting to discuss access to buildings, minibuses, etc to ensure they cater for people with disabilities. |
| |
Integrated Living Team (ILT)
This group discusses the specific needs of clients who have suffered acquired brain injury in terms of employment, housing and leisure in addition to their statutory needs. |
