Funding for the Voluntary & Community Sector

Funding services

One of the goals of Dudley CVS is to support local voluntary and community organisations with their funding needs. We do this by offering organisations help and guidance on:

  • Identifying their funding needs
  • Developing strategies for finding the funding they need
  • Sourcing potential funders
  • Finding different ways of getting money e.g. Gift Aid, Capital appeals, donations etc, and
  • Improving their financial management systems
We also speak out on issues affecting the funding of the sector

Help finding potential funders

Dudley CVS Resource Room further provides a range of publications to assist your quest for funding, or alternatively, you can carry out an interactive search, using the Funderfinder, Trust Funding and Grantfinder facilities.

If you are unable to visit Dudley CVS itself, you can either complete and return a Funderfinder form [Word, 85KB] and email it to: funding@dudleycvs.org.uk

Funding factsheets

We have a range of downloadable funding factsheets to help you with those difficult funding issues. If you need more support please contact us.

Funding email bulletin

To help organisations keep up to date with funding initiatives, Dudley CVS circulates a monthly email funding bulletin. The bulletin enables voluntary and community organisations to find out about:

  • New grant opportunities
  • Different ways of generating income
  • New tender opportunities
  • Training workshops on funding and financial topics.
If you would like to receive the monthly bulletin please email Martin Jones: funding@dudleycvs.org.uk

Training

Dudley CVS run regular Funding Surgeries for the sector. For information please look in The Echo, our What's On page, or contact us.
