The Role of Dudley CVS
| Dudley Council for Voluntary Service's role includes: |
- Providing support and guidance to voluntary and community organisations within the borough of Dudley to allow them to grow and reach their goals
- Supporting and promoting the values of the voluntary/community sector within the borough of Dudley
- Working in partnership to promote equality
- Supporting a wide range of forums bringing together local voluntary and community organisations, and enabling representation of the voluntary sector on a variety of local, regional and national partnership bodies
- Supporting new developments to fill gaps in local services
- Helping voluntary and community groups to participate in the improvement of local services and, supporting the development of a strong 'user voice' in the planning, delivery and monitoring of local services.
