A local choir will perform a ‘decade of songs’ this weekend in a special performance at Cornbow Hall.
Lutley Community Voices choir formed in 2012 and will perform their ten-year anniversary concert this Saturday, June 25 at 7.30pm.
The concert will feature popular songs they’ve performed in the last decade and a special performance by Billy Spakemon.
Councillor Simon Phipps, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:
“It’s great to have live music at Cornbow Hall this weekend, it’s set to be a wonderful evening with songs you’ll recognise and able to sing along to.”
They’re always looking to expand the variety of shows and events available at the hall, with the venue able to offer flexibility for a variety of events – whether it’s live music, comedy, wrestling or parties. They urge people to get in touch if they would like to find out more.
Hazel Cartwright from Lutley Community Voices, said:
“Our concert is all about our choir and the songs we have performed during the decade of our existence. We hope people come along and enjoy the show.”
