Brand new Baden-Powell Scouts group is looking for young members and volunteers

A brand new scouts group based in Amblecote is on the hunt for adventurous children and young people to join in their activities. It is also looking for leaders and volunteers to help out.

Black Country Baden-Powell Scouts is part of the national Baden-Powell Scouts Association and will offer a range of Scouting activities for children and young people aged between 6 and 15 in the following sections:

  • Beavers (6 to 8 years old)
  • Wolf Cubs (8 to 11 years old)
  • Scouts (11 to 15 years old)
  • Senior Scouts (15 to 18 years old).

Taster day – Saturday 18 September, 10.30am-12.30pm

If you would like to see what’s on offer, you can join the group at its taster day for 6-15 year olds and their parents / guardians at Amblecote Church Hall on Saturday 18 September, 10.30am-12.30pm.

Volunteer opportunities

The group is also looking for leaders and volunteers to help make their activities happen. Volunteers will receive training from the Baden-Powell Scouts Association and support from current group leaders. Roles will be subject to DBS checks which will be done by the Baden-Powell Scouts Association.
