Expression of Interest (EOI) Invitation
Family Social Prescribing Service for Children’s Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs)
Dudley Health and Care Partnership is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations to deliver a Family Social Prescribing Service as part of the development of Children’s Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) across Dudley and Sandwell.
Background
The Children’s INT model aims to improve outcomes for children, young people and families through integrated, neighbourhood-based support. A key component of the model is Family Social Prescribing, which will provide personalised, non-clinical support that helps families access community resources, improve wellbeing, build resilience and address wider determinants of health. The proposal is intended to support children and young people, particularly during key transitions between services, whilst reducing inequalities and preventing escalation to crisis support or long periods on waiting lists.
We Are Looking For
We invite EOIs from VCSE organisations that can demonstrate:
- Significant experience delivering social prescribing to children and young people.
- Strong links with local community assets and voluntary sector organisations.
- Experience of working collaboratively with health, social care.
- Ability to collect and report outcomes and impact measures.
- Appropriate safeguarding policies, procedures and workforce training.
Scope of the Service
The successful provider will be expected to:
- Work alongside Children’s INT partners, including primary care, community services, mental health, social care and voluntary sector colleagues.
- Deliver a family social prescribing offer for children, young people and families.
- Provide personalised support and signposting to community-based services and activities.
- Support families to identify goals and improve wellbeing.
- Contribute to service evaluation and outcome reporting.
Procurement Approach
To ensure a proportionate and efficient process, we are seeking:
- Up to three written quotations from suitably experienced VCSE providers. The financial envelope is £18k.
- A brief Expression of Interest (maximum 2 pages) outlining:
- Relevant experience and track record.
- Proposed approach to delivery.
- Capacity to mobilise.
- Indicative cost proposal.
