Healthwatch Dudley joined forces with four other local Healthwatch to listen to local people about their experience of digital exclusion.
We wanted to understand how the move to digital healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic has worked well for some but excluded others, especially people who are older, disabled or have language barriers.
We worked with Healthwatch England to explore the reasons why people have been excluded and to look at what needs to happen to ensure everyone can access the care they need.
