Poverty Challenge Connect Summit

Dudley CVS is hosting an event to bring together colleagues across the system working with people in poverty or people who are just about managing.

Time:  9:30am – 3pm
Location:  Brierley Hill Civic Hall, Bank Street, Brierley Hill, DY5 3DH

The summit will provide the opportunity for voluntary and community groups and partner organisations to: 

• Reconnect and share what we are doing. 
• Get to know a range of organisations and providers across the system who are working with people in poverty.  
• Start a conversation about what we can do together differently in the short term to help people facing poverty as a result of the increase in the cost of living. 
• Begin to explore ideas for the potential to make an impact on rates of poverty over the long term.
• Learn about a Dudley Neglect Strategy and how this links to poverty.

There will be a variety of stalls, speed dating type presentations and fringe meetings.
