Read Easy Dudley District was set up in 2022 with the purpose to help anyone in the Dudley area who wished to improve their reading skills.
The voluntary group recruits and trains Reading Coaches who provide free, 1:1, confidential training to Readers during 2 x ½ hour meetings each week. They meet in venues throughout the Dudley borough and work through a set of manuals and associated reading books. There are currently 11 Readers currently being coached and two people have graduated from the course already.
Read Easy Dudley District currently have 12 people waiting to join a course and are looking for volunteers who would like to become Reading Coaches.
