Art In The Park is a collaboration between The Art Yard gallery, Dudley Street, Green Care & Amenity Services, and ‘Friends’ of Stevens Park & Peaces gardens.
When: Sunday, 7th August 2022 between 10:00am and 4:00pm
Where: Stevens Park & Peace Gardens, A4036, Thorns Road, Quarry Bank, DY5 2JU.
Stevens Park & Peace Gardens has toilet facilities, a cafe’ & restaurant, plenty of outdoor seating and off road parking from Thorns Road.
The event is FREE to attend for all the family. Join with professional, amateur, novice and community artists of all ages and abilities to enjoy a relaxed day while creating artwork in the company of like minded people and family groups. Take part in sketching the parks peace gardens or taking photographs. There will be a area set aside for children to enjoy art production.
Bring along your own art materials, refreshments and drinks. Some 10 artists from The Art Yard team will be on site to help and encourage those attending with friendly advice and tips on producing art.Contact: infoartyard@gmail.comTel: 01384 910968
