Theme: Innovation & Collaboration
Cranstoun believes in collaboration, creativity, compassion, respect and ambition, they want to break down barriers and stand up tall for the people they work for and campaign alongside.
Recent years have been particularly challenging for those working in the third sector, academia, policy, and implementation, Cranstoun have seen additional challenges presented to services due to COVID-19 and a cost-of-living crisis having an impact across the UK and the world.
This year, following on from a highly successful conference in 2023 where they had over 160 delegates in attendance, they are looking to hear from organisations and individuals who have developed ways of working that are both innovative and collaborative at their 2024 conference in Birmingham.
Cranstoun’s focus at the Social Justice Conference 2024 will be across five areas, harm reduction and drug policy, domestic abuse, criminal justice, housing and homelessness and children and young people’s services. They are particularly interested in topics that cut across two or more of these five areas.
Do you work collaboratively? Is your work innovative?
Cranstoun’s call for abstracts for this year’s conference particularly encourages contributions looking at implementation, evaluation, methods, and practical delivery. Papers will be considered for both oral and poster presentations, papers should indicate if you would like to be considered for presenting as a panel. Please include a title for your paper, title of the presenter and any co-presenters. Abstracts should be 200-250 words, be structured and where appropriate and include references.
