Community organisations working with children and young people across Dudley are invited to get involved in the Growing Up in Dudley project over the spring/summer 2023.

Growing Up in Dudley is about understanding local needs to that services and support for families, children and young people become more responsive to local people’s needs. The project is story-led, using inclusive and creative methods to capture what matters most to children, young people (and their parents/carers) – it’s about making sure that children’s and young people’s lived experiences play a central role in creating local change.

Over the next five months, the project will be working in partnership with local community organisations to reach diverse groups of children and young people – from school age to 19 (and 25 with SEND). They’ll be using inclusive and creative (and fun) methods to ensure that everyone can get involved and share their stories on their own terms (and enjoy taking part). All children and young people are welcome to get involved and share what matters to them.

Growing Up in Dudley are currently looking for locally trusted organisations that are working with and supporting young people to collaborate with to set up conversations or creative workshops. If you’re interested in getting involved in the Growing Up in Dudley project and ensuring that the children and young people you work with are heard, please get in touch by emailing stories@framecollective.org.uk – they’d love to hear from you.

*Growing Up in Dudley has been commissioned by the public health team at Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council and is being run by Frame, a voluntary-sector organisation specialising in people-centred research and engagement using story-led approaches to address health and social inequalities.
