Child Care Bureau Fostering Services – part of the National Fostering Group – supports children and young people across Worcestershire and the wider West Midlands, matching their individual needs to its network of fostering families. The agency is totally child-focused and has a strong ethos of support for its foster carer, helping them to care with confidence.
Fostered children may live with their foster parents for different lengths of time depending on the child’s requirements and future care plans, as well as the carer’s experience. They may live alone or with their siblings and many share their home with the foster parent’s birth children.
Child Care Bureau works tirelessly to meet the needs of children in care and their local authorities. The agency provides short-term and long-term foster carer, as well as emergency care, respite care, bridging foster care and step down. Specialist carers provide parent and child foster care and Child Care Bureau also works with young people seeking asylum, unaccompanied young people and sibling groups.
