Community Cancer Champion Training Programme

Due to the success of their Community Cancer Champion Training, Black Country Integrated Care Board are now hosting cohort 3.

Come and join their growing list of Cancer Champions!

Black Country Integrated Care Board know that the earlier a cancer is detected, the better the outcome for the people involved. Why not top up your knowledge and confidence so that you can help yourself, your family members, patients and colleagues to raise awareness.

The role simply requires you to take top tips and best practice back to your setting/community and help to improve awareness around cancer screening and early diagnosis.

Over time, it is hoped that you will have lots of opportunities to learn from health professionals to share the good things you have been learning about.

The training is completely free of charge, but the expectation will be for each champion to complete the courses and be an active member of the group and network of local cancer champions.

Black Country Integrated Care Board currently have over 150 Cancer Champions.
