Join Black Country Futures (and Partners!) on Wednesday 26th April for the Employment & Skills support provision from the Third Sector conference, a round-table event and conference for Third Sector organisations who provide employment and skills support within the Black Country
This event, hosted by Black Country Futures, and funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, will bring together Third Sector organisations who provide employment and skills support within their support services, or those whose support services directly contribute towards people’s potential and ability to move into employment and training. The speakers for the event will be:
– Elizabeth Taylor, CEO, Employment Related Services Association (ERSA)
– Fiona Aldridge, Head of Insight and Intelligence, West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA)
– Nikki-Dee Haddleton, Partnership Strategic Lead, Black Country Futures
The event will provide an opportunity to hear from the speakers about the employment and skills landscape at a national level and at a regional level, and explore how Third Sector organisations are integrated into support models. The round-table discussions and a panel discussion will cover a range of topics including discussions on current challenges being faced by the Third Sector delivering employment and skills support, opportunities to collaborate on ideas for future service delivery, and providing evidence, feedback and data which can help to ensure that the Third Sector is an integrated provider in employment and skills support delivery models.
This event is supported by One Walsall, WVCA, SCVO and Dudley CVS, who will be joining in hosting and facilitating round-table discussions on local needs and opportunities.
