Creative Black Country (CBC) is offering micro commissions of £500 – £2000 for projects to deliver creative activities in a warm and comfortable space for local communities in the Black Country.

CBC is looking for creative responses which will bring fun, joy, connection and creativity to local people within warm spaces in the Black Country.

CBC is happy to support proposals that provide creative activity with existing warm hubs in your local area, these might be organised by your local voluntary council or local authority. Find out more: DudleySandwellWolverhampton and Walsall.

CBC supports local communities in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton to co-create new work that is relevant, authentic and genuinely participatory for people living in the Black Country. Support if also offered to communities to develop their skills and confidence in building creative and cultural activities.

Between 8 to 12 commissions are expected to be awarded. Awards will be on a rolling basis until the 11th of February 2023 or until the budget is all allocated.

Successful commissions will be expected to deliver their warm space activity by the 31st of March 2023.

There is an online information session on Monday 21st November 2022 at 1pm via Zoom. Please Register here. If you require access support to attend this online event please email as soon as possible to: info@creativeblackcountry.co.uk with any requirements.

Creative Advisers are available to support you in developing and planning your project ideas. Anyone can ask for support from our Creative Advisers, you don’t have to have a formal group or have a fully formed idea, just a desire to do something creative in your local community, and they could help you to develop it into a proposal.
