Dudley Council has launched a new grants scheme in partnership with West Midlands Combined Authority.

The fund aims to unlock under-used infrastructure, widen access to cultural experiences, and drive inclusive, place-based regeneration through culture.

Cultural and Creative Investment Programme funding can support small-to medium scale capital works that enhance or upgrade locally significant cultural and heritage assets.

Applications will need to meet at least two of the following outcomes:

  • Investment in infrastructure to support creative and cultural activities for audiences in Dudley borough
  • Support increased visitor numbers
  • Increased participation in cultural and creative activity
  • Improvements to place through arts and culture
  • Improved environmental sustainability

‘Department for Culture, Media and Sport’ defines the cultural sector as those industries with a cultural object at the centre of the industry, including built heritage, film, libraries, literature, museums and galleries, performing arts, public broadcasting, and the visual arts.

The application guidance and form are available on the Regenerating Dudley website. The deadline for applications is 27th July, 2026.
