Significantly struggling to afford food, pay bills and buy essentials?
Confused about energy tariffs and need energy saving tips?
Citizens Advice Dudley and Wolverhampton understand that times are tough because of the ongoing cost of living crisis, and are able to provide help at their Cost of Living Support Hubs. The opening of the Hub at Halesowen Library marks the third Cost of Living Support Hub open in the Dudley Borough. The Hubs are delivered by Citizens Advice Dudley and Wolverhampton, commissioned by Dudley Empowerment Partnership, with support from Dudley Council and the NHS Black Country ICB. Their aim is to provide clients with the guidance needed to alleviate some of the immediate struggles’ households are facing.
Upon arrival at a Hub, clients are asked a series of questions to asses their current situation, and to understand the challenges they are facing. The information is used to determine the types of support which are beneficial, and eligibility for support is established. The Hubs can provide, information on how to save money, practical help relating to access to food, fuel and energy, period products and available benefits, grants and funds. Vouchers to purchase essentials such as food and Fuel Bank Vouchers can be issued but are subject to eligibility and are per household.
The Hubs can only be accessed by booking an appointment online at:
