Dudley CIL is a user-led organisation providing support for disabled people of all ages. The organisation provides information, social care support, advocacy support, and assists with benefit queries and appeals.
Dudley CIL has recently received £1000 to arrange events to help alleviate loneliness in older people. A cheque was presented to Dudley CIL by Ian Williams, Owner of Home Instead in Netherton, and Community Engagement Director Susan Love.
Over the coming months, Dudley CIL will be looking to use the funds to organise afternoon tea events in each of the five townships across Dudley borough. If you are able to support the group to find venues for the activity or you know an elderly person who may like to join an afternoon tea event (that may not be connected to any existing local activities) please get in touch with Tracy tracymcclymont@gmail.com or send a text message to 07804 652212.
