Voluntary Sector Engagement Session
Getting Up to Speed: Integrated Care System and Dudley’s Place–Based Partnership
When: Wednesday 13th July, 1pm – 3pm
Where: Copthorne Hotel
Post COVID Dudley CVS has embarked on facilitating a series of events to reconnect people and organisations, to introduce colleagues to local system changes and offer an opportunity for them to shape and influence developments.
Integrated care systems (ICSs) are partnerships of health and care organisations (including voluntary & community sector) that come together to plan and deliver joined-up services and to improve the health of people who live and work in their area. The Black Country partnership is called Healthier Futures. They exist to achieve four aims:
• Improve outcomes in population health and healthcare
• Tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience and access
• Enhance productivity and value for money
• Help the NHS support broader social and economic development.
Place-based partnerships form part of the ICS structure and are local collaborative arrangements that have been formed across the country by the organisations responsible for arranging and delivering health and care services in a locality or community. Locally, there will be a Dudley Place-Based Partnership. To date, progress has been made by partners in the development and shaping of the local Partnership.
Dudley CVS will be hosting a series of sessions for the voluntary and community sector on the Integrated Care System and Dudley’s Place Based Partnership. This first session will provide the opportunity to:
-
Get up to speed with developments on the Integrated Care System and Integrated Care Board
-
Learn about developments in relation to Dudley’s Place Based Partnership and the new care model
-
Take part in fringe discussion groups in relation to Dudley’s Placed Based Partnership values and culture and Dudley’s new care model
-
Co-design future voluntary sector engagement sessions on place-based working
Dates for future sessions will be circulated in the near future.
