There is a free session taking place for not for profits in Dudley who work with children and young people to learn about the role of the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) and the management of allegations process.
When: Tues 26th September – 13:30 – 15:00
Where: DY1 Community Building, Stafford Street, Dudley, DY1 1RT
The LADO on the behalf of Dudley Safeguarding People Partnership Board (DSPP) oversees all allegations against any person who works in a position of trust with children and vulnerable young people.
The aim of the session will provide –
- An overview of the Management of Allegations process from referral to conclusion
- An overview of the role of the Designated Officer (LADO)
- For participants to be better informed about the processes and responsibilities of your organisation /agency regarding the Management of Allegations
- Understand the role of Police, Social Care, and the employer in investigating allegations.
