Safe and sound, Dudley’s Community Safety Partnership, warmly invite you to attend a Free ‘Stand By Me’ Bystander Intervention Training course.
Delivered by Communities Inc., Stand by Me is a 3-hour training session that helps people be allies to those experiencing hate and prejudice in the workplace and in neighbourhoods.
In the session we will cover:
1. Creating a better understanding that there is a continuum of hate where, if left unaddressed, this behaviour can escalate to more harmful levels
2. Learning about safe and simple interventions that can lead to more positive outcomes
3. Improving confidence to make an intervention
This training is for anyone that wants to make a difference in their workplace or community by tackling hate and prejudice but is not quite sure how to do this.
Please follow the below link for tickets – you only need to book onto one session.
