An Announcement from the Black Country Community Research Partnership Supported by the National Institute of Health Research
WVCA is launching an exciting opportunity to fund VCSE organisations in the Black Country to learn about and take part in, research around access to health and care services within our communities.
WVCA is looking for diverse voluntary and community groups who are interested in becoming ‘community reporters’ – trusted voices working in the most vulnerable communities who will receive training to capture people’s experiences and stories. The community reporters will be supported to gather, curate, and mobilise stories that can give insight into people’s experiences of accessing health and care services.
No previous academic qualifications are needed; just people with good listening skills and experience of working within local settings. Free training will be provided and WVCA will fund your organisation to conduct research within your community. WVCA will also be gathering your information and producing reports that will capture your work, giving you evidence that can be useful when applying for future funding.
