Ready to take your best shot? Join Beacon Centre for the Blind for a quiz night with a twist!
Get ready for a fun night out with a difference as the Beacon Centre for the Blind brings the community together for a charity quiz night with a football twist this June.
While the charity will be celebrating the kick-off of the World Cup with the quiz on 11th June, this event is about much more than just football. It’s a chance to enjoy a lively, welcoming evening packed with quiz rounds for everyone, from general knowledge to light-hearted football-themed questions, so whether you’re a football fan or just love a good quiz, there’s something for you.
The quiz is designed to be inclusive and suitable for all, including older children and families, making it the perfect opportunity to get a team together, bring friends, or come along and meet new people.
The evening will be hosted by Beetlejuice Beetlejuice actor Rupi Lal, who will bring plenty of energy, humour, and entertainment to the night.
During the interval, guests can also enjoy the first half of the World Cup opening match between Mexico and South Africa, with the game continuing in the background as the quiz resumes.
Teams can include up to six people. Guests are welcome to enter as a team or book individual tickets and join one on the night.
Sarah Dovey, Fundraising Manager at Beacon, said: “We’re really excited to bring people together for a fun, relaxed evening that everyone can enjoy. The quiz isn’t just about football, it’s about community, laughter, and supporting a great cause. We’d love to see as many people there as possible.
“We’re also running a World Cup sweepstake, with tickets available in our charity shops for a chance to win some fantastic prizes and we hope as many people as possible can take part.”
Doors open at 6pm and the quiz starts at 7pm, tickets are £7 per adult, £4 per child (under 16) and £40 for a team of up to six. To book your tickets head to: https://buytickets.at/beaconcentrefortheblind
