ship Black Country and West Birmingham CCGs
Dear Community and Voluntary Sector Colleague,
The Strategy Unit has been commissioned to support Black Country and West Birmingham (BCWB) to develop a co-designed Integrated Care System (ICS) strategy for health inequalities. One aspect of this work will be a workshop on Friday 15th October 9:30am to 12pm.
In the workshop the Strategy Unit will share findings from qualitative work conducted with health system stakeholders, who will be leading system efforts to tackle health inequalities, and community representatives and stakeholders. The aim of the project is to understand, by community or population groups, the enablers and barriers to accessing and using health and care services and to identify ways of improving equity in access for these groups, with the intention of improving health outcomes for the BCWB population over time.
In the workshop, system and community stakeholders will test the findings and co-design the focus of the ICS strategy for improving health inequalities.
I would like to invite you, as a key stakeholder, to attend and participate in this workshop.
Further details will be provided in advance.
