Dudley CVS is looking to nurture community projects that aim to make Dudley borough an inclusive, welcoming and safe place for all our communities and celebrate a commitment to community cohesion.
To develop this work, Dudley CVS has a small amount of funding available for voluntary and community groups to run small scale activities in May and June that connect communities and build a sense of belonging for everyone.
If your group can run an event (badged as ‘Cake not hate’) that gives people:
- An increased sense of belonging in their local area
- An improved perception of how people from different backgrounds can work together
- A better sense of trust between communities
We’d like to hear from you. In return, you will receive:
-
A small grant to help make your activity / activities happen
-
Other resources to distribute to your participants or to help your activity run
- Training to help you and your group members improve skills and confidence to run your activities
