Improving a sense of belonging in Dudley borough: Small grant opportunity coming soon

Dudley CVS is looking to nurture community projects that aim to make Dudley borough an inclusive, welcoming and safe place for all our communities and celebrate a commitment to community cohesion.

To develop this work, Dudley CVS has a small amount of funding available for voluntary and community groups to run small scale activities in May and June that connect communities and build a sense of belonging for everyone.

If your group can run an event (badged as ‘Cake not hate’) that gives people:

An increased sense of belonging in their local area
An improved perception of how people from different backgrounds can work together
A better sense of trust between communities

We’d like to hear from you. In return, you will receive:

A small grant to help make your activity / activities happen
Other resources to distribute to your participants or to help your activity run
Training to help you and your group members improve skills and confidence to run your activities
