Community Engagement Officer – Brockmoor and Pensnett
18.5 hours per week
Salary: £29,269 (aligned to NJC Scale 6) pro rata
20 month contract

The Community Engagement Officer role will develop and sustain meaningful interactions with local people in the Brockmoor and Pensnett wards, gaining insight and understanding of what is important to them and their families about living in their local area. This will include facilitating community research and analysing and disseminating findings.
You will help local system partners to understand what will bring the most benefit to people living and working in the area.
Key responsibilities include:
· Understanding and engaging with communities
· Identifying community assets
· Relationship building between communities and partner agencies
· Facilitating community research
· Developing communication methods to connect and inspire
