Dudley CVS is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our existing Integrated Plus team as:
Volunteer and Activities Coordinator – Social Prescribing
(37 hrs p/w)
Salary: £32,076
(Dudley Borough)
Are you passionate about working in the voluntary and community sector? Are you good at building relationships? Do you want to make a difference and help improve the lives of vulnerable people?
The role will involve a number of key activities including:
- Supporting the voluntary sector to develop and deliver a range of community-based wellbeing activities in which Social Prescribing Link Workers can refer people into.
- Managing a social prescribing grants programme.
- Developing and managing volunteering activity in social prescribing.
- Encouraging and supporting people to become Experts by Experience.
- Organising and delivering a number of events to raise the profile of social prescribing and the voluntary sector.
