Our friends at SCVO are excited to announce that Buttle UK’s Grants Development Officer, Janitah Salmon is joining them virtually to discuss current funding opportunities aimed at supporting children and young people.

Dudley-based groups are invited to join them and find out more on Thursday 19th February 2026, 10am till 11.30am via Zoom.

This online session is a great opportunity to connect directly with the Grants Officer; ask any questions you may have and receive tailored advice enabling you to build a much stronger case for any potential investment prior to submitting your application to Buttle UK.

Who are Buttle UK?
Buttle UK is a charity dedicated to helping children and young people in the UK who have experienced crisis, living in financial hardship and dealing with multiple challenging social issues.

What does Buttle UK do?
They provide individually tailored grants of up to £2,400 for children and young people who have experienced a crisis that has recently had a significant and enduring impact on their wellbeing and educational engagement. They fund items and activities to help improve children and young people’s wellbeing and increase their capacity to engage in education and learning.

Who’s the session aimed at?
This session is aimed at frontline professionals working for a registered charity, housing association or public sector organisations who:

  • are working directly with the children/young person
  • have made a full assessment of the child’s or young person’s needs
  • have carried out at least one home visit (optional for schools and colleges)
