In December 2025, a stakeholder engagement event was held by the Dudley Health and Care Partnership to gain a shared understanding of what mental wellbeing means to different people and communities and to explore the opportunities for collaboration and making positive impacts locally.
One key outcome from the event was for a new local Mental Health Improvement Board to be established to help shape services locally. Dudley MBC Public Health has now created capacity within their team to drive forward this work. The Improvement Board will offer a route for wider voluntary sector and system partner engagement to influence priorities and delivery via a series of work streams and the Board itself.
More information will be communicated soon.
Andy Gray is currently the chair of the Dudley Health and Care Partnership. If you would like to discuss anything in relation to the work of this Partnership and future plans for further stakeholder events, please contact Andy directly via andygray@dudleycvs.org.uk
