Black Country Futures are very pleased to be able to share now the report and recommendations from the Employment & Skills support provision from the Third Sector (26 April 2023) conference. On Wednesday 26th April 2023 Black Country Futures hosted the Employment & Skills support provision from the third sector conference, a round-table event and conference for Third Sector organisations who provide employment and skills support within the Black Country. This event, hosted by Black Country Futures, and funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, brought together Third Sector organisations who provide employment and skills support within their support services, or those whose support services directly contribute towards people’s potential and ability to move into employment and training. The round-table discussions and panel discussion covered a range of topics including discussions on current challenges being faced by the Third Sector delivering employment and skills support, opportunities to collaborate on ideas for future service delivery, and providing evidence, feedback and data which can help to ensure that the Third Sector is an integrated provider in employment and skills support delivery models.Attended by over fifty people from across more than 30 organisations, Black Country Futures held three round-table discussions throughout the day and in their report provide direct feedback, summaries, and recommendations from these discussions.Read the report now at: https://lnkd.in/eaa7JErmBlack Country Futures will be hosting a follow up event via zoom on Tuesday 8th August to discuss the findings and recommendations in the report.
