Dudley CVS are delighted to invite you to our relaunch event of Dudley Young Health Champions (DYHCs) and iZone.
Who are DYHCs and what is iZone?
DYHCs is a programme designed to empower young people to help shape the health services they access and signpost other young people to activities and services available to them.
Complementary to this, our rebranded online directory for young people, iZone, provides details of the different activities and services available to them locally and nationally.
Both projects are brought together by our brightly coloured health wheel. Our health wheel identifies the different areas of health, open to exploration by DYHCs. The wheel is a key feature of iZone, with each segment containing helpful resources and signposting information.
What will happen at the launch?
You will be invited to explore the health wheel through taking part in interactive stations hosted by our DYHCs. DYHCs will share with you highlights from their project work and you will see clearly how each segment of the wheel links to iZone. You will receive a live demonstration of iZone.
We hope that you will leave having been inspired by the work of DYHCs and the important role they play in supporting their peers and helping to influence local change. We will be asking you to help us spread the word about iZone far and wide.
We will be joined by Jill Edwards, Public Health Manager who commissions the projects and Jason Griffiths, Chief Officer of Healthwatch Dudley.
