The Motor Neurone Disease Association are hold an interest meeting on Tuesday 30 November 2022 from 7.00pm to 8.00pm (online on Zoom) as they are looking to form a Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association Group in the Black Country.

They currently have a network of 90 groups and branches throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, all run by volunteers. Their groups provide a warm welcome and friendship for people with MND and their families, they offer information, advice and support, they campaign for improved local services for people with MND and they fundraise for essential money to provide local support and to fund research into finding treatments and a cure for MND.

They are looking for a small number of volunteers who would like to help set up and run a new Black Country Group.
You may be an existing fundraiser living in the area and this would give you the opportunity to work with others to hold occasional joint fundraising events. You may be someone affected by MND who would like to help campaign or raise awareness.
Whatever your current involvement, the aim of the meeting is to get a group of people who can form a planning group, so please come along to find out more and don’t worry – you are not committing yourself by attending!

The meeting will be held online on Zoom, and will give an overview of the MND Association and how groups can really make a difference locally.
Please email adam.brittain@mndassociation.org if you would like to attend and find out more. He will then send the link to join the meeting on Zoom.
