Can you help a Stourbridge-based charity with a little storage space? Metal for Good is looking for a business or organisation that may be able to offer, either free of charge or at a heavily discounted rate, a small storage unit, warehouse corner, lock-up, garage or unused commercial space within reasonable travelling distance of Stourbridge.
Metal For Good harnesses the positive values of the rock and metal community to create social change. Through its grant giving, Metal for Good supports grassroots organisations across England and Wales using music to improve mental health, tackle isolation, and create opportunities for young people who need them most.
Since launching in 2022 the charity has supported around 25 projects, supported by an incredible community of music fans, artists, festivals and businesses who believe that heavy music can have a positive impact.
Alongside its fundraising campaigns, Metal for Good sells a range of exclusive merchandise and collects donations of pre-loved band shirts and alternative clothing, which are then resold to raise vital funds for its charitable work. As the charity’s community has grown, so too has the amount of stock it holds, and it is now looking for a secure, dry storage space to help it continue that growth.
If you think you may be able to help, or if you know someone who could, contact Katy at Metal for Good on hello@metalforgood.org or call 07833229262.
