Nominations for the 10th Community Inspiration Awards 2022 are now open. The annual Community Inspiration Awards is organised by the Community Foundation, to recognise outstanding contributions made by members of the community, staff from public sector organisations, charities, and businesses whose efforts have made a positive difference in the community and has inspired others.

This year’s Community Inspiration Awards ceremony will be take place on Tuesday 29th March 2022 in Birmingham where the panel of esteemed judges will announce the finalists and winners. The Mayor of West Midlands, Andy Street will be the chief guest this year and he will be joined by a host of other dignitaries from across all sectors to hand out the awards. Confirmed dignitaries are as follows:

Andy Street – Mayor, West Midlands Combined Authority

Gary Taylor – Assistant Chief Fire Officer, West Midlands Fire Service

Cllr George Duggins – Leader, Coventry City Council

Cllr Ian Courts – Leader, Solihull City Council

Vanessa Jardine – Deputy Chief Constable, West Midlands Police

Richard Baker – Assistant Chief Constable for Local Policing, West Midlands Police

Tom McNeil – Assistant Police and Crime Commissioner, West Midlands Police

Pat Carvalho – Principle and Chief Executive, Birmingham Metropolitan College
