At CoLab Dudley we’re inviting people to come together for a series of gentle, open printmaking gatherings. Working alongside Laura Onions @ljonions and @gathering_press, a roving screen printing project, the residency will explore how the narratives of place may be translated through making and thinking together.
This ‘journey of connection, learning and action’ located in place, deeply connects to the process and histories of printmaking and the language of Gathering Press. This interweaves with current explorations by members of CoLab Dudley’s network around counter-mapping and re-imagining our relationship with land.
As a point of enquiry, the residency will consider the shape of commoning in our current political, social, environmental climates and the role of printmaking in these endeavours.
🗓️Opening on Wednesdays, 10 – 2pm, starting 25 Feb (further dates in image below).
🎟️ Free to join and drop in, no prior experience needed, everyone is welcome.
