Arts Council England gives funding to support creativity and culture across England.

National Lottery Project Grants  is a fund for creative individuals and organisations in England who want funding for a project. It is open to everyone and you can apply at any time. These grants usually range from £1,000 to £100,000.

Creative Black Country (CBC) is hosting a free event to introduce you to Arts Council Project Grants. The session is ideal for creative people and organisations who have not applied for Arts Council funding before and are based within the Black Country, although if you have applied before you are still welcome to attend.

Specifically, CBC looks forward to meeting those from lower socio-economic backgrounds, D/deaf or disabled people, LGBTQIA+ people, and those from the Global Majority, who have traditionally had least access to resources.

Led by Relationship Managers from the Midlands team in collaboration with Creative Black Country, this event will take you through the process of applying for National Lottery Project Grants, followed by a 45-minute question and answer session.

The event will be held in person and will cover:

  • Access Support
  • Arts Council strategy, Let’s Create
  • National Lottery Project Grant application guidance
  • The application form
  • The decision-making process
  • How to contact us

There will be British Sign Language interpretation during the event.

If you have any questions about the event or any access request, please contact Faye Read via faye.read@artscouncil.org.uk by Friday 7th July.

For more information and to book your place, visit the Eventbrite booking page. Once you have booked a spot, you will receive a confirmation email.
