Following the Government imposed lockdown in March 2020, the Healthwatch Dudley team supported our host organisation Dudley CVS with a community response, which involved working with local volunteers to deliver food and medication to local people who were shielding. We interviewed a sample of people who received this support to evidence the impact of the voluntary sector and the difference the community response has made to local people.
