You’re Invited! Join us to celebrate Volunteers’ Week in Dudley Borough

We are thrilled to dedicate National Volunteers’ Week to all the individuals who give their time and make a difference by volunteering in Dudley Borough!

To celebrate volunteers, we’re holding a range of free events and a social media campaign throughout the entire week. So, whether you’re a volunteer, a volunteer-involving group, or want to learn more about volunteering, then come along!

✨Volunteer Fair – Saturday 31st May✨

Come along to our free volunteer fair to meet a range of good causes and charities looking for your help! Celebrating the start of Volunteers’ Week, the volunteer fair provides an exciting opportunity to learn about a range of volunteering opportunities available in Dudley Borough and how you can get involved. Free hot drinks and activities will be available!

Good causes, groups and organisations attending include DK Rugby & Football Club, Dudley Lions Club, Healthwatch Dudley, Home Run Hounds, Integrated Plus, Kingswinford in Bloom, Ramblers, St John Ambulance, Tenovus Cancer Care, The Emily Jordan Foundation, Wall Heath in Bloom and more!

When: Saturday 31st May. Drop in anytime between 10.30am and 2.30pm to meet a range of volunteer-involving community groups who will be showcasing their volunteer opportunities.

Where: Dudley Kingswinford Rugby and Football Club (DKRFC), Swindon Road, Wall Heath, DY6 0AW.

Volunteering is a great way to make a difference in your local community, gain new skills and experiences, improve your health, make new connections and give back. Don’t miss this chance to join inspiring groups and individuals already making a difference and find the right volunteering opportunity for you. DKRFC’s sit on lawn mower, Poppy, will also be available for a fun assault course!

The Volunteer Fair is hosted by Dudley Kingswinford Rugby and Football Club and Dudley Volunteer Centre (Dudley CVS).

✨Great Outdoors Volunteer Celebration – Wednesday 4th June✨

We warmly invite volunteers who look after our outdoor spaces to our free volunteer celebration! Whether you are part of a Friends of Parks group, volunteer in a garden, or make a difference to your local outdoor spaces, then drop by to celebrate National Volunteers’ Week with us!

• Free cake and hot drinks 🍰
• Goodie bags for volunteers 🛍️ (subject to availability)

This is a fantastic opportunity meet fellow outdoor volunteers, share experiences, and learn more about volunteering in Dudley Borough!

• Date: Wednesday 4th June, from 11.00am to 2.00pm
• Location: Stevens Park (by the Community Cafe), Quarry Bank (Dy5 2HR)

We warmly invite volunteers and volunteer-involving groups across Dudley Borough to our ‘Big Volunteer Thank You’ event. Join us for a morning and afternoon of celebration and appreciation for everything volunteers’ do! Whether you are a volunteer, a volunteer-involving group, or thinking about volunteering, come along to enjoy:
